Laby's excitement from entering a new world soon faded and was replaced by a feeling of discomfort. She could not shake the feeling away eventually leading her to make a mistake in the battlefield. Despite this, she was able to defeat the enemies with Nisha’s help. Bellonde, however, was injured in the process and his wounds were not healing immediately like hers. She finally realized where her feelings of discomfort were coming from.

There was no one else like her outside the forest. She realized she was different when she was inside the forest and until now, she was still different even outside. The troubled Laby seeks Nisha's comfort realizing that no matter what happens, Nisha will always be with Laby.

Bellonde was still kind after the spell disappeared but Laby's heart was plagued with distrust. The more she felt uncertain, the more she relied on Nisha and slowly begins to close herself off from the rest of the world.

Wandering in an unfamiliar place, whenever Laby asked for help she was met with hostility at every corner. She knew that there was no one to help her. But just when Laby was about to give up, an unexpected help arrived in the form of a young girl. Her sincerity touched Laby and she made up her mind to trust the world once again.

Unfortunately, that feeling of warmth was brief. She watched the girl cry as her family was taken away, and she felt pain. She felt incompetent because she was not able to do anything to help. She felt despair. She realizes that happiness, as delicate as it is, will eventually be crushed into nothing.

Laby begins to crumble at the realization of hopelessness and Nisha comforted her. Nisha's embrace relieved her and Laby hears Nisha in the midst of silence.

"I'm not strong enough to help you, but if you give me some of your emotions, it will be my strength. I may be able to protect you from those that hurt you"

Laby was relieved to hear that Nisha will take care of the pain she couldn't handle. Nisha grew stronger from the emotions she receives from Laby and uses it to protect her. She keeps Laby away from all the hurtful things and envelops her in a sweet illusion.

Nisha believed that if they understood their origins this would stabilize Laby, so they headed towards Henir's Barrier. However, their journey turned out for the worst. Their experiences in Henir's Barrier negatively impact the illusions Nisha has crafted for Laby and instead, twisted memories have resurfaced as Laby begins to break down. It was then that Nisha realized that as long as Laby is connected to her body and emotion, it will bring her more pain and break her down further. It was then that Nisha decided to fully protect Laby.

Trusting Nisha to take care of her, Laby gives all of her emotions to Nisha allowing her to become corporeal while Laby slowly fades away. To prevent Laby from disappearing, Nisha turned her into a mirror and promised to make this world a place just for Laby - where she can be happy like before.
