After failing to destroy Eltrion in his regeneration chamber, the El Search Party presses on towards Elysion but not until Eltrion
challenges them one last time at his anti-aircraft defense base – the last gateway before Elysion. The Sky Guardian emerges
with a new form as Eltrion MK2 Black and is undoubtedly stronger than when the gang last encountered the mechanical titan.
Prepare to give your all because Eltrion is dead-set on exterminating anyone who tries to reach the gates of Elysion.

Are you ready to take on Eltrion one last time?
• For starters, players will be transported in the middle of the base. Eltrion will enter, swoop down, and securely merge himself with the base. He positions himself in the middle overlooking the base's platform.


• Eltrion's basic attacks are similar to his moves in Phase 1 and Phase 2. The following are a few additions to his basic attack moves:



Eltrion will do an attack on the entire platform by firing a laser signaled by blue horizontal lines.
Place yourself out of range to avoid the attack.

In this move, Eltrion will cast vertical beams which will damage the players once activated. It is best to stay between the beams to avoid the attacks.		Eltrion will pound each fist on the platform creating a shockwave between his fists. This can be avoided by a properly timed jump.

• After bombarding the players will his basic attacks, Eltrion will change tactics after a set amount of time and will use stronger moves to exterminate the players. Watch out for the following moves:

Elrios will create a vacuum in the middle of the stage that will forcefully draw players in. Players caught in the center of the vacuum will receive continuous damage. Stay near the edge of the map to avoid being sucked in.		Eltrion will do a crush move that starts from either the upper left or upper right side and will land in the opposite direction.
Players must avoid getting caught inside the pillars of light because it sucks its unfortunate victims upward, electrocutes them, and drops them. It is best to stay in the spaces between the pillars to avoid the damage.		In this move, Eltrion will use both of his hands to crush the players with a greater force than his basic crush move. Anticipate the attack and move away from the impact.
Watch out for when Eltrion is getting ready to shoot an energy beam from either his left or his right hand. The red bars will indicate the direction of the attack so it's best to move away from the bars.		Eltrion has a move that shoots lasers in an 'X' formation moving outward; pushing and damaging any players caught in the beam.

• Near the end of the raid, Eltrion will use his most devastating attacks to annihilate any players left. Watch out for these attacks to avoid fatal damages.

Eltrion will fly and dock on the machine to the right to unleash a massive laser attack that will land on the squares. Position yourself away from the targeted are to avoid being damaged.		Eltrion will fly and dock on the machine to the left to unleash guided missiles and nuke the players. Look for a blind spot and remain there until Eltrion goes back to the platform.

• There will be a cut-scene where Eltrion is seen getting ready to unleash his final attacks but Glave will interfere to save the players. This will signal the end of the raid.

• When it's open, a character must be 1st Job or 2nd Job class to be able to enter. • If you meet the above criteria, and upon logging in with your character, the emblem appears to signify that it's open. It also appears as you enter a village or field.


• A timer with Eltrion's symbol appears on top of the screen. Clicking on it opens a special boss raid window.


• Click the designated button 'Enter Raid' to start playing. A character may be allowed to enter the lair once a day.


• Once you've entered, there will be a 40-second interval before the actual battle begins. Other players may enter the lair during this time. A maximum of 8 players can play an instance together.
• Try to follow the prompts and hit Eltrion as much as possible. The goal is to rack up as many points as you can throughout the 8-minute duration.
• Unlimited Resurrection – You can wait 15 seconds for auto revival (no resurrection stone consumed) or use your existing res stones.

Here's more of what you need to know about the updated raid mode.

• Eltrion will have the same HP throughout the server.
• There will be 3 phases each represented by an HP bar (currently in Phase 3).


• When his overall HP decreases to a certain level, a new phase will be activated.
• Each phase will have a different scene and battle system.
• The Raid UI also shows individual and guild rankings for this play mode. Weekly rewards are based on these rankings.


• Your rank is based on the points you have received in the raid. Points are based on the damage you have dealt on Eltrion. (1 point = 10,000 damage dealt)
• Points accumulate. Ranking will be calculated at a fixed time, and points are reset to 0 when the phase has ended.
• Ranks are reset every week, on Wednesday or Thursday (may vary per server)
• No drop limitation based on level.
• Aura will be shared with other characters.
• Mounts are not allowed.

Know your enemy and know yourself.

• The massive beast Eltrion is always in super armor status.
• He is immune to knockdown effect from character's resurrection.
• No defense power adjustment based on level.
• Eltrion's HP in battle is unlimited; he may receive damage but will not be defeated.
• Meanwhile, his overall HP shown outside the battle lair may become depleted or reach 0, in which case he is deemed defeated. This server HP gets renewed at a fixed time.

Battle Completion Reward. When the battle is completed, you will receive an Eltrion MK2 Nasod Treasure Box
(regardless of points acquired) and between 60,000 ~ 800,000 ED (based on your level).

Weapons' Additional Effect • When you use Eltrion's MK2 Nasod Weapon to attack, you have a chance to activate the effect 'Eltrion's Battle Soul'. • When 5 of these stack 'Eltrion's Battle Soul' will be activated, dealing damage that is 3 times each of 230% of Physical and Magical Attack power.		Accessories' Additional Effect • When wearing the accessory set, you have a chance to activate the effect 'Eltrion's Battle Soul' depending on the grades of the items. • When 5 of these stack 'Eltrion's Missile Lv. 2' will be activated, dealing damage that hit's the target with 100% of the character's Physical and Magical Attack power.

After surviving a full battle against Eltrion, each player will be ranked in the Raid interface.
You will receive a corresponding reward by mail at 7:00 AM on Wednesday or Thursday (may vary per server).


The collective efforts of your guild are ranked as well. The corresponding reward will be given by mail to players who are in the guild, on Wednesday or Thursday at 7:00 AM (may vary per server)

Though Glave is the kind who lures adventurers into trouble, he sure can make it all worthwhile.
